...For the times they are a-changin'

Bob Dylan didn't get the Nobel Prize for literature just because he wrote catchy song lyrics. He was awarded the international accolade because he could express the spirit of a generation. He is still doing so. The "wheel is still in spin" for COVID-19, the global climate and for righting the inequalities that still separate people.

The times, they still have to change. More so than ever. The way we do things, the way we make the products that surround us and they way we think are all being chucked into the melting pot of change.

For the times they are a-changin

A new generation means that we have to say goodbye to the last one. Our awesomely fine sound centre called ACTION is now "Out of Stock". It has been one of the most popular sound centres and it is still unique. ACTION was right for its time. Conceived and launched in 2017 it brought hifi sound to a great many people in Europe and Asia. For many, ACTION was the first time that there had been hifi quality sound in their homes. The clarity and precision of sound does wonders for the understanding of music, films and books. The educational effect for children is enormous as research has shown. But its time to move on.

Bring on the new.

For the times they are a-changin

Change is actually a word that isn't strong enough. We need to overwhelm and not just make minor adjustments to the way we live and do things. In STEENSSEN we are doing that. The products we build, the materials we use, the sound we make, the places where they are produced, are ALL being part of a the new order. A new generation bringing creativity, culture and tech together. Check out the NEO generation on the website. It is made in Denmark - properly. The materials, the electronics, the speakers are all innovated and created in the Sound Cluster of central Jutland in Denmark. NEO brings a sound and an experience that are the spirit of the coming decades.

"And you better start swimmin'

Or you'll sink like a stone

For the times they are a-changin'"
