Sustainability and protection of the environment are serious challenges for our generation. No longer is it wise to produce so many products in plastic and other types of materials with poor sustainability. One of the great features of STEENSSEN is that about 90% already consists of natural and easily recyclable materials like wood, aluminum, bronze, steel and rubber. Well that isn't perfect, but we are getting there.

The founder, Frederick Rickmann, is very active in trying out the entire production line to check on practices and how materials and working practices can be right.

Treating the environment responsibly is not just a question of the finished product. The working environment for the people who assemble the speakers is also essential to get right.
